Democrats need to lose the secular image and become more tolerant of pro-life and pro-traditional family views.
I am not suggesting that Democrats must all embrace socially conservative views but the party must have a place for social traditionalists to become a majority party.
There are simply not enough urban intellectuals, social liberals and secularists for Democrats to win. We must broaden the base to include social traditionalists who often hold Democratic views on economic issues.
